With almost total discretion, Maserati opened the controls of the Granturismo Folgore. And it's about time. The first official images were unveiled 2 years ago, and the specifications more than a year ago... so it's been a long wait for dealers and potential customers alike.
But now you can finally order this electric luxury coupé sedan which, for the moment, has no real competitor on the market. It complements the SUV Maserati Grecale Folgore, orders for which have also just opened.
So what does this Granturimo Folgore offer? A luxury car with 3 electric motors that provide maximum power of 830 hp and phenomenal torque of 1350 Nm. With this you can tow not one, but two boats! Performance is also top-notch, with a 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 sec, 0 to 200 in 8.8 sec and a top speed of 325 km/h. A little better than a Porsche Taycan Turbo S, and not so far from a Tesla S Plaid.

Alongside the 3 engines, a 92.5 kWh battery, assembled at the new Mirafiori Battery Hub in Italy, which can recharge up to 270 kW. This is almost twice as powerful as the Grecale Folgore, but with a CATL battery. Lhe advertised range is 450 to 500 km. Count on 400 km in reality, depending on the temperature, your driving style, etc...
It's worth noting that the car's weight remains fairly contained, at "only" 2,260 kg. That's also more or less the same weight as a Tesla S Plaid or Porche Taycan S. That's still 400 kg more than the Granturismo Modena that we tested.
But how much does it cost? The Maserati Granturimo Folgore starts at €196,95015,000 more than the Modena internal combustion version, but much more powerful and, above all, without the €60,000 deductible...
