After dazzling audiences on the Yas Marina circuit about two weeks ago, Maserati continues its world tour with its GT2 Stradale. But this time.., the destination is the famous Ascari circuit in Spain. The aim? To give the international media the opportunity to discover this radical, road-legal supercar.
Although we were not invited to this presentation, we are delighted to bring you the details of this event In the meantime, tests and reviews of this GT2 Stradale in the trade press should be appearing soon.
The Maserati GT2 Stradale wasted no time in making an impression with its magnificent colors, including "Digital Aurora", "Giallo Genio", "Blu Infinito" and "Powder Nude Texturized". Each hue is carefully chosen to accentuate the aerodynamics and aggressiveness of this car born to perform.
This model, inspired by the MC20 GT2 which shone in the GT2 championship in 2024, is distinguished by a design built for speed. The front hood features new air intakes and a redesigned bumper to optimize aerodynamics. At the rear, additional air intakes and an imposing carbon spoiler testify to the car's character. This is a car with a single objective: performance.
Inside, Maserati opts for minimalism. The interior, designed for the purist, is entirely dedicated to performance. The alcantara racing steering wheel, combined with the carbon seats, creates a resolutely sporty ambience that lives up to the expectations of the most demanding drivers. Every detail is designed to deliver an unrivalled driving experience, from the alcantara upholstery to the carbon finishes.
Under the hood, the GT2 Stradale deploys the 640 hp Nettuno V6. This engine, already well known for its power, enables the car to break the 100 km/h barrier in just 2.8 seconds. Top speed is 325 km/h. Weighing just 1475 kg, the GT2 Stradale is one of the most powerful cars in its class. Its high-flying aerodynamics, with 500 kg of downforce at 280 km/h thanks to its rear spoiler, outperforms even such razor-sharp models as the Lamborghini Huracan STO.
Maserati has always been a brand that likes to offer its customers customization options. The GT2 Stradale is no exception, with a varied color palette ranging from classic black (nero essenza), white (bianco audace matte), yellow (giallo genio) and even "Powder nude texturized". These exclusive shades enable every owner to set their car apart and give it a unique character, while retaining the power and performance of a racing supercar.
This GT2 Stradale model follows in the footsteps of other exceptional cars, such as the MC20, the MC20 Cielo and the radical MCXtrema.
