It's definitely good to be a luxury car manufacturer in Italy. After Ferrari has announced that it will distribute up to €14,000 in bonuses to its employeeshis great rival from Sant'Agata Bolognese, Lamborghiniis once again named "Italy's Best Employer", for the twelfth year running. A performance that confirms the Bull brand's ability to combine industrial performance, a futuristic vision and management that is attentive to the needs of its employees.
Awarded by the Top Employers Institute, this certification recognizes companies that meet the highest standards of the HR Best Practices Survey. The survey covers six main areas (HR strategy, work environment, recruitment, learning, diversity & inclusion, well-being), each of which is examined in relation to 20 specific themes. Lamborghini stood out on all these criteria, demonstrating a "holistic" approach to talent management.
"Our success stems from a deep respect for people and their legitimate aspiration to join an organization that is like them. Investing in their well-being, their professional development and creating an inclusive and stimulating environment is fundamental to meeting tomorrow's challenges", explains Umberto Tossini, Lamborghini's Chief People, Culture & Organization Officer.
In addition to the launch of new models and record sales figuresLamborghini has strengthened its social and societal commitment. At the heart of this "social innovation": the creation of ever more inclusive working environments and the continuous improvement of working conditions.
Since 2021, the Lamborghini Feelosophy program, structured around "body, mind, purpose", embodies the brand's commitment to the overall health of its teams. Concrete actions are implemented, ranging from sports and meditation to medical prevention, psychological support and social responsibility initiatives.
To support this approach, Lamborghini also relies on support for its managers through the Coach and Care program. Objective: to develop the skills and responsibilities of the management teams to create a healthy, motivating environment that reflects the brand's values.
A new collective agreement was also signed in 2024, facilitating the organization of work for the benefit of employees. Among the key measures:
- Alternating between four- and five-day weeks for production teams.
- Up to 12 teleworking days per month for office workers.
- More financial support for parental leave, up to 100 % of pay for single parents or those caring for a disabled child.
In a favorable economic climate, Lamborghini has welcomed almost 1,000 new employees in two years, including over 600 in 2024. This rapid growth, combined with an appropriate integration plan, has enabled the brand to pursue its objectives while fostering the smooth integration of new talent. The very low staff turnover rate illustrates the success of this policy and the attachment of employees to the company.
This latest accolade as "Italy's Best Employer" confirms, if proof were needed, that at Lamborghini, passion doesn't stop at the factory gates.
