Scoop! Fiat prepares a new supercar : Monstro!

The world of Italian automobiles is in turmoil, and this time it's Fiat which has just unveiled a surprising project: a supercar. After Maserati's success with the MC20 and Alfa Romeo's with the 33 Stradale, it's Fiat's turn to unveil its entry into the luxury sports car category. Bcalled "Monstro", this supercar promises to be a true monster of power... or rather, a more affordable version, but just as impressive.

The Maserati platform, but with a Fiat twist

As expected, the Fiat Monstro will not be a completely new supercar. Indeed, the Monstro shares its platform with the Maserati MC20. This means it will benefit from a proven architecture, designed to deliver exceptional performance on both road and track. One of the special features of the Monstro will be to embody a more "mainstream" version of the MC20, while retaining its sporting spirit.

Three versions to suit all tastes

The Fiat Monstro will be available in three versions, all powered by a 3.0L V6 engine, the same as in the Maserati MC20, but with power ratings adjusted to meet different needs.

  • 350 hp version The entry-level model, with a moderate 350 hp, ideal for those looking for an exciting driving experience without blowing their budget. The Monstro 350 hp will be available from 89 000 €.
  • 490 hp version A more muscular model, offering an excellent compromise between performance and price. With its 490 hp, it promises thrills while remaining relatively affordable for a supercar. Its price will be 129 000 €.
  • Ultima version - 640 hp The top of the range, with an engine that reaches the 640 hp. This Ultima version will be the most extreme, designed for those seeking maximum performance. Of course, it will come with a price tag to match its capabilities: 179 000 €.

Supercar-like performance

Although the Fiat Monstro won't be competing directly with high-performance models such as the Ferrari SF90 or Lamborghini Aventador, it will offer impressive performance in its segment. The Ultima version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds, this car has everything to seduce speed enthusiasts.

The Ultima version's 640hp V6 will be mated to a dual-clutch gearbox, The Monstro's lightweight carbon chassis guarantees ultra-fast gear changes and precise handling on the road. An adaptive suspension system allows the ride to be adjusted according to driving conditions, giving the Monstro unrivalled versatility.

A design that puts a smile on your face

The design of the Fiat Monstro is based on the aerodynamic lines of the Maserati MC20, with a touch of Fiat sportiness. At the front, a wide bumper incorporates aggressive air intakes, while the round headlamps characteristic of supercars add to its fierce allure. The aerodynamic silhouette, with its flowing curves and taut lines, accentuates its sporty character while remaining true to the spirit of the brand.

An Italian supercar for everyone?

The Fiat Monstro is therefore positioned as a more affordable alternative to traditional supercars, while offering performance that rivals that of the leading brands. Prices, though more affordable than those of its competitors, remain in the upper range, which may enable Fiat to reach a wider public while meeting a growing demand for sporty vehicles.

If the Fiat Monstro becomes a reality, it could well redefine motorsport by bringing a new dimension to the sport. a new era of supercars accessible to those who can't afford the market's leading models.

Of course, at this stage it's still just an April fool's joke... But who knows? Maybe Fiat will surprise us.

    • This is one of them... we know that FIAT doesn't just make battery-powered city cars any more!
An affordable price is announced (55 times the minimum wage!!) for the general public who want to learn about speed (on sections limited to 300km/h I think)!!! In short, a super economical and super ecological car for young drivers!
