After the Grande Panda unveiled in 2024, the first deliveries to customers are due to start this month, Fiat has no intention of stopping there. In just a few months' time, probably on July 11, the Italian brand will present a new, even larger, even more versatile family model. It's already been called Giga-Panda, Pandissima, even Multipla. But let's be clear: it won't be any of these names.
Fiat has in fact confirmed that this new vehicle will be named after another imposing animal, but not the panda's. A nod to the lineage, but not the same as it. Internally, this model is dubbed the "New Tipoa working name that reflects its family vocation.
A family C-SUV with up to 7 seats
This future model will enhance Fiat's offering in the C-SUV segment. Unlike the Grande Panda, which is a 3.9-meter B-SUV, The Giga-Panda will measure around 4.4 metres in length and will be available in 5- or 7-seat configurations. An orientation clearly designed for large families or for those in need of space.
Like the Grande Panda, it will be based on the Stellantis Group's SmartCar platform. A platform already used by the Citroën C3 and the all-new C3 Aircross. So it should come as no surprise that these models are technically very similar: same architecture, same engines... but with a strong Fiat style.
How much does the Giga-Panda cost?
Thanks to this technical expertise, we can now put forward a fairly realistic price estimate. According to our information, the 1.2L 145 hp hybrid version could be offered at around €23,000. The 100 % electric version (113 hp) costs around €28,000.
These prices correspond to the 5-seater versions. For the 7-seater version, you'll probably need to add around €1,000. An affordable option that could appeal to many families looking for a family SUV.
Design continuity
In terms of styling, Fiat should remain faithful to the new visual identity introduced by the Grande Panda. Expect sturdy, square lines and a retro-futuristic design inspired by the first Panda models, but modernized to meet today's expectations.

Okay, so it's confirmed that the Frontera and C3AC will have a 3rd "brother". One for each country 🤪
Yes, but in the end it's not surprising, because until 2026 it was announced on smartcar that there would be Citroen, Opel and Fiat. I think it will be after 2030 that there will be other generations on stla small.
The Fiat version will have a nicer interior environment. I hope they'll offer the 51kWh net battery version directly with the 156 hp engine, as it's of little use for a compact SUV.
113 hp seems light enough for a 4.4m C-SUV
Will the new Fiat 7 seater replace Fiat Doblo or Ducato or maybe long forgotten Ulysee.
To replace a Fiat Ulysse, it would be better to use the STLA Medium platform, shared by the Peugeot 5008 III and the forthcoming Citroën C5 Aircross II. The last two seats in the C3 Aircross are unusable for adults. There are currently no plans for Fiat to launch such large model, but Lancia (Phedra III ?) may have a chance.
Fiat 'Urso' would suit him well 8)
Ursa* sorry
