Fiat seems to have finally decided to boost sales of its electric 500, which experienced significant drop in sales in 2024. Despite the brand's plans for a future hybrid model to relaunch the Mirafiori plant, the electric version is set to evolve, may not arrive until 2026. In the meantime, Fiat has taken matters into its own hands by offering a tempting promotion to stimulate consumer interest.
In Italy, Fiat has launched the "Bonus Tricolore" offer, a substantial discount of €9,700 on the version of the 500 equipped with the 23 kWh battery, usually priced at €29,950. Thanks to this offer, the car is now available at €20,250, a price that could well attract new buyers and restore some dynamism to the brand.
For customers ready to opt for financing, a second offer brings the price down to €18,950. However, this offer is subject to certain conditions and includes financing with interest. In the end, after application of these financial charges, the bill rises to €21,611.26.
For the moment, this offer is reserved exclusively for Italy, and other European markets, such as France, Germany, Spain and the UK, have yet to benefit. However, the A source from the brand told us that it plans to roll out similar offers in these other countries very soon. Keep an eye out for those who expect a more attractive price for the electric 500.
Fiat's initiative could be the answer to the 500's falling sales, which amounted to around 30,000 units in 2024, well below the 65,000 sold in 2023. With these targeted promotions, Fiat hopes to reverse the trend and breathe new life into its iconic model.

Proof that automakers (especially Tavares) sell vehicles for 2 to 3 times more than their real price...
Bingo!
It's a huge difference. Won't the return of the Ypsilon signal the end of the 500's "hdg" positioning? This suggests that at least the current Ypsilon or the future DS3 will ensure the survival of at least Lancia or DS.
