What if we told you that a group of Canadians dared to modify a Ferrari F12 into a 1,300-horsepower monster, and then drove it to an official dealership? Ferrari to see how the brand would react? A crazy idea? Perhaps. But that's exactly what the YouTube channel DailyDrivenExotics did, and the video of their adventure already has over a million views.
A project out of the ordinary... and out of bounds
For four long years, these enthusiasts have transformed their 2013 Ferrari F12 into an extraordinary mechanical beast. On the program: two turbochargers, 1,300 horsepower, powered by a specific high-performance fuel, the Ignite Red (E90), reserved for high-powered engines. In short, a project that defies all conventions, including those of Maranello.
Because if there's one thing Ferrari doesn't like, it's modifications. The Italian manufacturer sees its cars as untouchable works of art. Modifying a Ferrari? Blasphemy, according to the brand's standards.
To the Ferrari dealership

And yet, once their project was completed, the Canadians didn't hesitate for a second. They set off for the official Ferrari dealership in Newport Beach, California, to test their creations in the eyes of professionals from the Prancing Horse brand. However, the dreaded reaction failed to materialize.
After a moment's incredulity, and a reminder that the Maranello team would certainly not be enthusiastic, the modified F12 impressed. One employee even described it as "fascinating".
Everything about this F12 screams excess. In an increasingly standardized automotive world, where even supercars seem to fit into boxes, this initiative is a reminder that there are still enthusiasts ready to push the limits.
