While 2024 was once again a year of records for Ferrari, all eyes are already on the year 2025, which is already well underway. The brand with the prancing horse promises that it will be marked by the arrival of new models. While a few weeks ago we announced 4 new Ferraris for 2025the brand has finally announced that six models will be launched in 2025. While we already knew four of them, the last two are still a mystery. Let's find out, what two surprise models will complete the brand's range in 2025? Here's what we know.
1. F171 - 296 VS: evolution of the 296 GTS and GTB
The Ferrari 296 VS, Special Version of the 296 GTS and GTB, is one of the most eagerly awaited models of 2025. Its aim: to improve performance on the racetrack while offering an even more exclusive experience. Aerodynamics will be optimized, and the 830 hp V6 hybrid engine, inspired by the latest Ferrari F80, could even break the 900 hp barrier. This model will undoubtedly be a performance monster, while remaining true to the Ferrari spirit.
2. F173 M - SF90 M: evolution of the SF90 Stradale
After making its mark on 2019, the SF90 Stradale, with its 1000 horsepower, gets a facelift in 2025 with the SF90 M. This upgraded version should see its V8 hybrid engine upgraded to over 1000 hp, to rival the Lamborghini Revuelto. Aerodynamic adjustments will also be made, to make this supercar even more powerful and efficient.
3. F169 M - Roma MCA: the evolution of the grand touring car
The Ferrari Roma, the brand's grand touring model, will also receive an update in 2025. While its already elegant design will continue to seduce, the changes could concern its engine. Ferrari could opt for a V6 hybrid engine or even a V12. This model will still embody luxury with a good compromise of comfort and performance, while meeting the demands of driving enthusiasts.
4. F244 - Crossover BEV: the first electric Ferrari 100 %
The F244 is sure to go down in Ferrari history (for better or worse) as the brand's first all-electric car. This 100 % BEV crossover could well revolutionize the electric luxury car industry. By entering a market that is still immature, Ferrari aims to make its mark with a high-performance, luxurious model that could well redefine the standards of luxury electric cars.
But what are the two surprise models?
Ferrari has announced six new models for 2025, but two of them are still under wraps. While some details are already circulating about these surprise models, it's still too early to confirm them. Here, however, are the most persistent rumors.
5. SP4: A tribute to the F40?
One model that could be among the surprises seems to be the SP4, a tribute to the Ferrari F40 on its 40th birthday. Based on the SF90 platform, the SP4 could receive a hybrid V8 turbo engine. The SP4 would be part of the Icona range, which already includes the Daytona SP3, Monza SP1 and Monza SP2.
6. Purosangue H: n V6 hybrid for the Ferrari SUV ?
The Ferrari Purosangue, the brand's luxury SUV, could also undergo an evolution in 2025. The H model would be a hybrid version of the Purosangue, replacing the current V12 with a twin-turbo V6 hybrid engine. Aesthetically, the Purosangue H should remain faithful to the original model, with only mechanical adjustments. While this information is not yet official, it would complete the offering of this SUV, which is already a best-seller, and give customers the choice between a V6 hybrid and a V12.
