F1: Ferrari starts the engine of its SF-25, listen to the video!

The Scuderia Ferrari recently shared a much-anticipated moment with fans: the start-up of the F1 SF-25 engine. In a video posted on social networks, enthusiasts could hear the roar of the Scuderia engine, the one that will power the SF-25, driven by Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton. This marks the traditional "fire-up", or first ignition of the engine. This symbolic moment took place in the presence of emblematic team figures such as Vice President Piero Ferrari, Ferrari Director Benedetto Vigna, Team Director Frédéric Vasseur, and new Deputy Director Jérôme d'Ambrosio, who joins from Mercedes.

Key dates to remember

Ferrari continues to test. After having test season kicks off in Fiorano with the SF-23, the team went on to continued its tests in Barcelona. Here, Ferrari ran two cars: the old SF-23 and the SF-24, the latter modified to simulate the new aerodynamic regulations that will come into force in 2026 during the dedicated Pirelli tests.
