Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale supercar: ambitious deadline for delivery of 33 units

The supercar Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale continues to inspire admiration in the automotive world. With only 33 examples scheduled for production, it also represents an ambitious challenge for the Biscione brand. That's right, Alfa Romeo set itself a bold target: to deliver all 33 models in a relatively short timeframe.

First, the project, launched at Monza in September 2022, quickly captured the attention of enthusiasts and collectors around the world, with the first pre-sales taking place in the greatest secrecy. The supercar was then officially presented to the public in August 2023. Finally, the first delivery took place on December 17, 2024a symbolic nod to the birth of the original Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale.

The lucky owners of this modern version of the supercar include former F1 driver Valtteri Bottas. Not only has he acquired one of the 33 models available, he is also a member of a select group of collectors known as the "Club 33".

And we've just learned that Alfa Romeo has embarked on an ambitious production schedule for the 33 units, with the objective of delivering each vehicle between December 2024 and December 2026, i.e. one to two cars per month. Each owner can personalize his or her car to create a one-of-a-kind piece. Each one is then produced by Carrozzeria Touring SuperleggeraThe Alfa Romeo Disco Volante, for example.

Alfa Romeo will also have to contend with the discretion of certain customers who prefer to keep the acquisition of their precious supercar confidential. But we're told that several well-known collectors are in the order book. Among the 33 buyers, we currently know that there are two Frenchmen, a Finn, an American and a Japanese. It's safe to assume that at least 15 examples will be produced by the end of 2025, so we may soon be seeing them on the roads.

  1. Considero il tempo impiegato per la progettazione di pochi esemplari di questa Alfa Romeo un tempo sprecato. Sarebbe stato meglio dedicare questo tempo dei progettisti a migliorare ulteriormente le attuali Alfa costruite in serie.
