Alfa Romeo Stelvio: this is what the new SUV should look like

With almost a year to go to market, the future Alfa Romeo Stelvio, the new generation of the Italian brand's SUV, is already the talk of the town. After the first photos of camouflaged prototypes released, the renowned Italian forum Autopareri has produced an illustration of what the SUV might look like.

These are not official images, but an illustration based on information we know to date and speculation based on prototypes on the road. Nevertheless, it gives a first idea of what this long-awaited SUV might look like.

The LED headlamps seem to stretch beyond what we know today, with a more aggressive and modern light signature. The front design is particularly striking, with a redesigned grille that retains the brand's characteristic Scudetto.

At the rear, the illustration reveals a new light signature in keeping with the latest information available to us. One of the biggest changes visible in this illustration is the SUV's silhouette. The profile appears to be closer to that of a hatchback than a traditional SUV, thanks to a lower, more sloping roofline. This styling choice may be aimed at improving aerodynamics while adding a touch of sportiness.

Of course, this is an unofficial illustration, but it gives a first idea of what the final design of the future Stelvio might look like. This rendering is based on camouflaged prototypes seen during testing, and allows us to imagine the vehicle's styling with relative precision.

The future Stelvio will be based on the STLA Large platform, and will offer both electric and hybrid powertrains. Although pricing details remain unclear, experts estimate that the electric version could start at around €70,000, while the hybrid version could offer a more affordable alternative.
