The anticipation surrounding the future Alfa Romeo Stelvio is gradually building. This new SUV, due to be presented at the end of 2025 and marketed in the spring of 2026, promises to be crucial for the Italian brand. Although little information has yet been released, a few elements have already given us a clearer idea of what's in store.

First certainty: the future Stelvio will be based on the STLA Large LP3 platform from the Stellantis group. It will be a 100 % electric model at launch. However, a hybrid version is planned for 2027, with an engine that could be the 2.0L GME.

In terms of proportions, early rumors point to an SUV slightly longer and lower than the current Stelvio. A revised stance that should enhance its dynamic appearance while improving aerodynamic efficiency.

The design, meanwhile, is beginning to reveal itself in small details. We now know that the rear light signature will adopt a new style: a scudetto shape. A break with current design, marking the arrival of a new stylistic era.

But it's the front end in particular that's raising many questions. Many imagine a front end modelled on that of the Junior, the small SUV launched in 2024, but according to our information, Alfa Romeo wants to set itself apart. The brand's ambition is to offer the Stelvio a front light signature inspired by the 33 Stradale, the supercar presented in 2023.

A direct link between family SUV and exceptional model? The idea may seem surprising, but when you compare the latest spyshots of the future Stelvio with the official visuals of the 33 Stradale, we notice some similarities in the style of the front lights. It's hard to say just how strong this influence will be, but Alfa Romeo seems determined to inject some of its supercar's aura into its future SUV.

Besides, the illustration published last week by Autopareri seems to be closely aligned with this stylistic orientation.
