The next-generation Alfa Romeo Stelvio is finally unveiled, in the form of camouflaged prototypes. Scheduled for official unveiling at the end of 2025 and marketing in the spring of 2026, this future sporty SUV has just been caught testing, including in the extreme conditions of Lapland.

In Lapland, a camouflaged example of the Stelvio was immortalized by carspotter SH Proshots, then relayed by the motor.es website. The shots reveal a model with a profile that is clearly more fastback than the current version, approaching a sleeker silhouette. The whole appears longer and lower, suggesting a significant stylistic evolution for the Italian SUV. The wide rims typical ofAlfa Romeo large brake discs.

The latest photo shows a new rear light signature, while the front remains more mysterious, still shrouded in camouflage. Nevertheless, we can make out an imposing scudetto and front lights reminiscent of those on the little Junior SUV. However, it's hard to get ahead of ourselves, since the camouflage is so effective in masking the final lines.

From a technical point of view, we know that the future Stelvio will be based on the STLA Large platform and will adopt a 100 % electric powertrain, incorporating the new STLA Brain technologies developed by the Stellantis group. More photos are likely to appear soon, as the brand seems to be increasing the number of prototypes in circulation in order to fine-tune its development.
The mirrors are the same as those on the 3008. I hope it won't be too much of an abuse to share components...
The same as all Stellantis production on the PSA side, in fact, from the Mokka to the 3008 via the Ypsilon, the 600, the 208, the 308, the DS4, DS n°8... all of them!
I'm afraid so!
What's with the C5X double-decker lights? !!!!
And that hood demarcation above the fender looks like it came straight out of the 3008!
It seems to me that at Renault, these double-decker lights are going to disappear!
When will it be on this new Stelvio!?...
Apparently always the same mirrors as all European Stellantis production outside Maserati...
Ein alfa vollelektrisch 😒 nee, mit hybrid und zb 2,5 v6 ok
A ridiculous electric ALFA It's a shame to have to leave the brand after 4ALFa
My god what an ugly looking car
A lot of negative reviews linked here and there, but Junior seems to have found its clientele (new customers). That was the objective.
Duly noted. If the brand can be saved in the medium term, we can only rejoice, even if the styling is questionable. Something to think about when you consider Lancia's situation!
Personally, I loved the design of the Stelvio and Giulia, and even the Giulietta and Mito. Inimitable style.
Give them a chance my god it's not been unveiled yet, I love the look and drive of the current one and have been an owner for nearly 4 years now and done over 70k miles which have mostly been trouble free
