L'Alfa Romeo Juniorthe brand's new compact SUV Alfa Romeois now available to order in the UK, after several months of waiting. Although the electric version was available earlier, the hybrid version, the Junior Ibridamarks the extension of the Junior range in Great Britain.
The Junior Ibrida is distinguished by its 136 hp hybrid engine, combining a 48 V lithium-ion battery with a 21 kW electric motor and a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox. This hybrid motor is designed to deliver smooth city driving, with the option of running in all-electric mode at low speeds or under low load.
The design of the Junior Ibrida features a front grille Leggenda17-inch alloy wheels and LED headlamps. The interior features Icona in black and blue fabric, eight-color ambient lighting and two 10.25-inch screens for instrumentation and infotainment, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
With a length of 4.1 meters and a height of 1.5 meters, the Junior Ibrida is ideally suited to city driving. Its 415-liter trunk capacity is the largest in its class, offering significant storage space for an SUV of this size. The model is also equipped with connected services, including Amazon's Alexa and a voice assistant powered by ChatGPT, to enhance interaction and connectivity with the user.
Orders for the Junior Ibrida will open later this month, with prices starting from £27,895. This model is now available alongside the electric versions Elettrica (156 hp) and Veloce (280 hp), with prices ranging from £33,895 to £42,295 depending on version. For the moment, the 145 hp Q4 version has not been announced.
