December 17, 2024, after months of waiting, the first example of the supercar Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale has finally been delivered to its owner. To mark this event, the Italian brand has just unveiled a video on YouTube, allowing enthusiasts and the curious to discover this exceptional car from new angles.
This model, produced in just 33 examples, represents the pinnacle of Italian craftsmanship. The story of the modern 33 Stradale began in September 2022 at the Monza Grand Prix, where Alfa Romeo has launched a project as ambitious as it is mysterious: the creation of an ultra-exclusive supercar, respecting the codes of the iconic 1967 model. After months of development, the promise of delivery of the first modelset for December 17, 2024, has been met.
It's no coincidence that this first delivery took place on December 17. Indeed, 58 years earlier, on this very day, Carlo Chiti entrusted engineer Franco Scaglione with the mission of designing the bodywork of the original 33 Stradale. In celebrating this date, Alfa Romeo pays tribute to the brand's history while affirming its commitment to the future, by reinterpreting this iconic model with cutting-edge technologies.
The 33 Stradale embodies the very essence of luxury and craftsmanship. Each one is the result of an intense personalization process, in which Alfa Romeo, in collaboration with Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera, create a tailor-made car according to the precise wishes of each owner. This meticulous work recalls the days when each car was handcrafted in the most prestigious Italian workshops.
Under the hood, the 33 Stradale hides a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine developing over 620 hp, allowing the car to reach a speed of 333 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than three seconds. With its Brembo carbon-ceramic braking system and two driving modes (Strada and Pista), the 33 Stradale offers a driving experience worthy of a racing car.
With only 33 units produced, it is aimed at a select clientele. Owners include some of the world's leading motorsport figures, like former F1 driver Valtteri Bottasa member of "Club 33". This exclusive club brings together enthusiasts and collectors from all over the world who have been lucky enough to own one of these exceptional vehicles. To date, production of the remaining 32 examples is underway, and will all be delivered within 2 years.
